chantal van rijtworksinfo

Chantal van Rijt is a Brussels-based artist working across sculpture, installation, photography, and moving image. With her work, she examines the complex and often contradictory ways in which humans relate to the natural world. She is intrigued by anomalies, the out-of-order and the in-betweens: those spaces where categories blur and familiar structures begin to dissolve.
